BRIGHT DARKNESS
Bright Darkness is my second album, which speaks of war, love and despair. Through music I have tried to describe the inner journey of a young man who, when facing the tragic reality of a war, reveals his emotions.
It is divided in six tracks that outline his journey:
Time to say goodbye - when your country is calling, you must go.
Dear Hanna - tells about the feelings of this boy when thinking of his loved Hanna and remembers all the moments spent together.
Open field - when he finds itself on the battlefield for the first time and realize that the unexpected can get you by surprise at any moment. His soul is now trapped in a limbo between life and death.
Wounded - after being wounded, everything around become blurred and under pain and drug effect, our soldier is moved out from the battlefield.
Nobody wins - in war there are no winners but only too many young boys dying for the whims of someone else. This song tells about the struggles of these young men and the sacrifice of many.
Shadows of light - tells about coming home from war, starting to break through the dark feelings by shadows of light bringing hope to get back to an ordinary life which unfortunately will never be fully normal.
